I get asked every day, “What makes your ice box better than all the others?” What a great question I think to myself, because from your side of the fence they all look the same. Here’s why you should look at an Evakool Ice Box:
White In Colour:
Evakools ice Boxes are white in colour, therefore when sitting in the sun they will hold a lot less heat. It still amazes me that ice boxes are made of warm colours.
Fibreglass construction:
Fibreglass is a very poor conductor of hot & cold, which makes for a great insulator. So even before the foam gets to start doing it work, the outer shell is already on to the job.
Tough:
The perception out there is that fibreglass can crack. The fact is that fibreglass is one of the worlds toughest man made fibres. In fact it is quoted as being 8 times stronger than steel ounce for ounce. Yes it can crack, but personally I have had surf boards & ice boxes made of fibreglass for years & I have put them through some of the worst treatments you have ever seen.
Local:
Once again I am banging the drum for local family business. Evakool is owned by four families & their fibreglass iceboxes are made right here on the Sunshine Coast…..hence I support them!
