Wilvo’s – The Wildlife Volunteers Association Inc

Wildlife Volunteers association Inc (WILVOs) is a volunteer based organisation with the goal of rescue, rehabilitation and release of native Australian wildlife from the Sunshine Coast region and beyond. Australia’s native wildlife has experienced enormous habitat change and destruction over the past 30 years in order to make way for human development to house our ever growing communities.
Because of these changes, native wildlife has become more susceptible to disease and injury therefore requiring a group of dedicated volunteers to humanely care for these animals until they can be safely released back into their native habitat.
Since its inception and incorporation in 1993, the organisation has operated continuously due to the tireless efforts of it’s volunteer membership, committees and generous donors.
